Getting to Kefalonia
The Kefalonia International Airport “Anna Pollatou” is located 8 km away from the city center of Argostoli. It receives domestic flights from Athens, Preveza/Aktio and Zakynthos all year round. During summer, and until the end of October, direct Charter flights operate from major European cities. The flight from Athens to Kefalonia lasts 45 minutes.
There is bus service between the airport and the town centre (Official bus schedule) and there are also taxis available outside the airport terminal all the time.
You can easily reach Kefalonia from many locations (Killini, Zakynthos, Ithaca, Lefkada, Patra) which are linked to Kefalonia with one of the following ports: Poros, Fiscardo, Sami and Lixouri.
